This is Jeff blogging on 22aug2009 and pretty psyched up about how my silly little blog is getting indexed pretty well on the internet. I searched for “Wilson S. Kelton” today — to try to retrieve this or that website I had seen in the past… and, lo & behold, ancestree.wordpress.com came up #1 on a Google search! I was pleasantly surprised. Maybe we will be talking to other researchers soon.
I have a huge supply of fun stuff to try on the internet. For openers, I will suggest some searches [in Google, Yahoo, etc.]. In some cases, these can lead you to extensions of my trees. While these are great LEADS, I am not yet convinced or haven’t gotten around to digging into them.
So here are some interesting search-strings. DO include quotation marks. Each line is one search.
“roger williams” “john throckmorton”
mcCandlis Ramsay
sappony
melungeons of TN
“john ashton” middletown NJ
Sheriff Horace Kennedy
“jared irwin” “jane kennedy”
“joseph taylor” “elizabeth ashton”
“john throckmorton” genealogy

above, Carolynn does a nice job of tracking Bussdickers…..
http://www.busdkr.net/ has some interesting stuff about the Bussdickers but too many contributors contradict each other (and my German genealogist’s info) IMHO
If true, the link below sends Phoebe’s tree back another EIGHT generations! [Daily, Daly, Dally]:

Elizabeth Hirschfield & others talk about the Caldwells, Stewarts and others in Scotland … possibly descending from Sephardic [i.e. from the Iberian peninsula] Jews or Muslims:

While compiling this list, I tried “Archibald Gray” “Elizabeth Mustard” together as a Google search. I quickly found a new listing in a genealogy forum and it sounds like the guy knows tons about them! And I appear to have some recently discovered some info to swap. This is where this can get interesting!
