The most frequently shown individual is ME of course! The pictures are from 1948.
The other folks are my grandparents whose Ancestor Trees are the focus of this blog. They are, left to right, Phoebe Josephine Gray Myers, Hazel Mary DeVeny Bussdicker, Clarence Earle “Bud” Myers, and Roger Ray Bussdicker.
We first children just don’t get enough attention — and pictures! :-)
Hello from Cambridge,MA. I happened on your website while trying to find some information on Dr.R.D.Bussdicker, a physician missionary in Iran (Persia) in 1933. Dr. Bussdicker was a Presbyterian missionary and resident of Dayton, Ohio. I am posting on eBay and envelope and letter written to Dr. Bussdicker by a fellow physician and stamp-collector in Boston. The reverse of this letter has a carbon copy of a brief but informative letter in reply by Dr. Bussdicker to Dr. Blaisdell, in which Dr.Bussdicker discusses his career and his work in Persia. If you’re interested, my eBay designation is norge96. The envelope is of interest to stamp collectors because of the unusual use of a strip of stamps from a 1933 commemorative souvenir sheet. Best regards, Dan
